Hi, I'm Fallon, your friendly neighborhood book bestie! *waves, sloshes coffee*
I’m going to say the quiet part out loud: Writing a book is FUGGIN hard!
You’re working, raising kids, homesteading, practicing self-care, and trying like hell to keep that stress down to an acceptable level; I get it. The creative life ain’t easy, and it seems to get harder every damn day.
But if you really want to write your story, you’ll find a way. Like all the other women who’ve forged their own paths before us, the work won’t get done until we do it ourselves.
Sure, you may not have written anything longer than a permission slip the last few years and may fear your writing skills are a bit rusty. That’s normal. After all, runners don’t put on their sneakers and run marathons their first times out (unless they want to pull all the muscles in their bodies and pass out by mile six, I guess): They train; they condition; they build healthy habits and processes and develop stamina to stay the course for the long haul.
Just like running, writing is a skill anyone can develop with a little practice and the right person on your side.
Yes, it is possible to achieve your book-sized goals!
I left a cushy corporate job and went on a freelance mission for one reason: To help authors write and develop stories about the challenges and triumphs of figuring out and following one's dreams, while urging readers to chase their own dreams.
I know you can write your book while living your life because I wrote a craft book on POV while hustling for a paycheck, homeschooling my daughter, and developing my family’s suburban homestead.
Yes, it’s hard work, but the best things in life always come from hard work. And while you’re working hard, I'm in your corner to cheer you on and keep you focused and motivated, on track, and hitting those milestones.
I'm a literary omnivore, so I work with aspiring authors of:
memoir
self-help
creative non-fiction
literary and genre fiction
Especially if your story is about:
rebellion against the establishment in pursuit of health, wellness, or happiness
seizing your power by leaning into the spirituality of planet Earth
re-imagining a society that celebrates real liberty and diversity
philosophical musings on individualism and collectivism
bootstrapping to get where the fuck you want to go

Ready to write your book?
Let’s talk through the kind of support you need, whether it’s in building a healthy writing habit, getting feedback as you write (so you feel confident you’re headed in the right direction), brainstorming issues holding your story back, or revising that partial or finished draft to make sure your story is ready for your readers.
Come on, now; don’t be shy. I won’t bite. But I will encourage you. I’ll champion your work and story and push you to get through the tough stuff to the end so you can say you did it! You wrote that damned dream book!
Only you can tell your story your way. I’ll be your confidence until you find it within yourself.
